. JOB SUMMARY: PURCHASING CLERK
Responsible for the procurement of materials and supplies required by the administration, operations and maintenance.
B. STATEMENT OF DUTIES
1. Facilitates the preparation of purchase orders, receives PR & ensures proper
recording & filing;
2. Prepares petty cash vouchers;
3. Processes payments, prepares check vouchers, facilitates the
issuance of checks by accounting & in coordination with purchasing
supervisor releases checks;
4. Coordinates with subcontractors and canvasses items based on
approved requisitions. Delivers approved purchased orders;
5. Place & follow-up orders of equipment & expedites purchase of
urgent items for operations;
6. Prepares monthly report of purchases;
7. Keeps files of requisitions, purchase orders and suppliers’ invoice/
Delivery receipts;
8. Does other duties which may be required by the superiors.
