A. JOB SUMMARY: ACCOUNTING CLERK

Responsible for recording all financial transactions; Reconciliation of financial records; Preparation of government reports and keeping records of company’s assets and accountabilities.

B. STATEMENT OF DUTIES

1. Prepares and types journal entries;
2. Records cash book transactions ( Manila and Cagayan ) & summarize entries;
3. Records all purchases;
4. Posts all transactions to books of accounts, prepares “trial balance“ and reconciles subsidiary ledger against general ledger balances;
5. Reconciles accounts receivable and payable accounts; SSS and other accruals;
6. Provides details of expense accounts right after completion of “trial balance”;
7. Prepares Bank reconciliation, analyzes transactions and proposes adjustments, if any;
8. Handles inventory reconciliation and assists in the year-end inventory count;
9. Conducts inventory check for accountabilities/ supplies at the warehouse, laboratory, clinic and other sections. Records withdrawals of items from the warehouse & laboratory;
10. Keeps records of fixed assets for purposes of tax, depreciation records and insurance;
11. Handles computation of the amortization of insurance, depreciation and other accruals;
12. Prepares the monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to SSS, BIR and other government agencies;
13. Prepares financial schedules and other requirements for SGV’s interim and yearly audits;
14. Prepares payroll for casual/ contract workers;
15. Prepares the periodic overtime report for payroll purposes;
16. Processes issuance of checks for the pipeline watchmen, allowances for the OJT’s and other payroll related transactions;
17. Receives payments on excess advances liquidated, sale on scrap and other items for disposal and its subsequent deposit to depository banks;
