MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and visual inspection.
2. Ensure 5’s and Good warehousing practices are observed in assigned workplace.
3. Responsible for transfer of scrap materials to Market Hygiene center.
4. Transport finished goods, raw and packaging materials from warehouse to PSA warehouse vice-versa and to other site.
5. Visual inspection of vehicles for any mechanical items and safety issues and monitor preventative maintenance schedule for mechanic to perform.
6. Perform daily pre-trip truck checklist and report any unusual mechanical failures needed for repair and maintenance after the inspection is completed.
7. Ensure truck assigned are properly cleaned inside and outside prior using.
8. Comply with truck driving rules, government regulations and transport safety (Tire chocks, Drip pan, hard hat, reflectorized vest, safety shoes, fire extinguisher etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures.
9. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions in safe operating manner.
10. Collect and verify delivery instructions and complete paperwork prior leaving.
11. Report any accidents or violations within 24-hours during driving period.
12. Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
13. Perform other duties as may assigned by the Logistic Head, Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least high school graduate and must possess a professional driver’s license with restrictions 1, 2 & 3 and at least 1 year driving experience.
