HR Officer Fulltime

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, or in any related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as Employee relations, pay and benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training and development, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Philippine Labor Law
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ethical standards

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

I. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Facilitate implementation of HR training and development programs to improve employee morale and performance.
  • Make assessment of the effectiveness of the training and activities in terms of employee accomplishments and performance in collaboration with the training in-charge and department head.
  • Conduct periodic employee survey satisfaction as main tool for employees’ development, recognition and awards.
  • Conduct needs assessment to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.

II. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

  • Facilitate in resolving complex employee relations issues and address grievances if necessary.
  • Handle and administer counseling and coaching to employees if needed.
  • Conduct investigation on reported incidents and validate reports received.
  • Document and implement disciplinary actions to concerned employee as indicated in the HR policy and Code of Behavior and as approved by the management.
  • Conduct exit interview to resigning employees.
  • Issue acceptance letter to resigning employees.
  • Evaluate and consolidate all exit interview reports of resigned employees and report results to management.

III. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Implement routine performance appraisal of employees.
  • Monitor employee’s employment status.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and metric reports related to employee performance.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and process of employee movement i.e. regularization, termination, transfer and separation.
  • Conduct Job evaluation.
  • Implement Performance Improvement Process and jointly work with department heads in the implementation.
  • Implement recognition and rewards program as approved by management.

IV. COMMUNICATIONS

  • Provide HR policy guidance to management and employees and cascade regular updates or changes on the policies.
  • Work closely with line managers, supervisors and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.

V. COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure that all HR process and policies are in full compliance with legal and government regulations or standards.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

VI. PAYROLL

  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Ensures confidentiality of salaries
