F.A.S.T. Laboratories is a primary service cooperative which provides laboratory testing and techniques.
Microbiologist are responsible for ;
- Performs the required microbiological analysis of accepted samples according to specified methods and procedures.
- Prepares and reviews the data generated and submits to Microbiology Supervisor for review, approval and signature.
- Ensures that the analysis results are release on time.
- Ensures systematic workflow by regular and proper timing of laboratory test in order of priority.
- Prepares samples for subcontracting to other laboratories for analysis that cannot be done at F.A.S.T Laboratory.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of the test results and procedure of costumers.
- Ensures availability of chemicals and supplies by proper monitoring and immediate requisition in order to ensure timely delivery to avoid delay in test results.
- Trains new hires, laboratory staff, interns on physical / chemical analysis techniques.
- Report directly to Microbiology Supervisor.
Performs other task as necessary to support the laboratory's objectives.
Qualifications for Microbiologist are ;
- BS in Microbiology or any related course.
- Preferably with registered or with licensed.
- Preferably with at least 1 year laboratory experience.
- Knowledgeable in microbiological methods and techniques.
- Passes vision test.
