The Checker is responsible for the daily movement of receiving and withdrawal in the facility while strictly adhering with the established procedures and guidelines, including proper documentation, internal coordination and cargo handling.
Education and Experience:
With at least 2-3 years working experience in the field of warehousing, logistics and supply chain services.
Skills:
Effective communication skills in both written and verbal (English/Filipino)
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions from immediate superior
Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment to move material/stocks through the facility (i.e. forklift)
Has working knowledge and experience in handling process, safety and regulations in warehousing of food and food related items.
Thorough knowledge of company facility, capacity, and equipment
Good and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Checks all incoming goods according to the details on the documents presented from the supplier (both local and imported);
• Inspects all the physical condition of the goods being received and strictly implement the guidelines in the business process for local and imported goods with defect;
• Signs the documents confirming the goods received matches with the documents presented;
• Transfers the incoming goods checked per pallet to the Locator prior to putaway;
• Checks all outgoing goods according to the details on the documents presented by the IM personnel matching the physical SKUs and quantity to be moved out or loaded into the trucks or container vans;
• Signs the documents issued to the trucker or service provider confirming the goods issued were correctly loaded according to the documents;
• Ensures the Trucker's or service provider's representative likewise signs the documents issued confirming the goods loaded to be correct in good order and condition
• Transfers the signed documents to the liquidation clerk confirming that the goods have been dispatched;
• Takes the pictures of the vehicle before, during and after unloading the goods; In the same manner, takes the picture before, during and after loading the goods
