Role Purpose
A route planner is responsible for the preparation of accurate routes and delivery schedules to ensure that the customer receives the service in a cost-effective way. As a valued member of our team, your input is imperative to the success of the company.
Scope of work:
o Prepare a route plan and submit it on a daily basis.
o Controls the total freight load capacity of any truck in cubic meter.
o Assigned trucker schedule based on the route plan submitted.
o Coordinate with third-party truckers for booking of trucks and confirmation.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
o College Graduate
o Knowledgeable in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power point)
o Strong organizational skills for planning schedules, travel, and loads
o Good geographical knowledge
