As an HR OFFICER, you are expected to perform Human Resource Support Services to Hyperstacks, Inc. including but not limited to the following responsibilities:



A. Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • A.1. Assists in processing of government mandated benefits and claims such as SSS, HMDF, PHIC, BIR Tax updates, and TIN processing
  • A.2. Represent the company in any affairs involving SSS, HDMF, Philhealth, and BIR
  • A.3. Provides PHIC requirements as requested by Hyperstacks employees
  • A.4. Documents all necessary changes and updates to employees benefits and compensation
  • A.5. Prepares the files/remittance report for various government agencies such as SSS, PHIC and HDMF

B. Training and Development

  • B.1. Assesses the training needs of the employees through consultation and monitors and updates the development progress of the each employees
  • B.2. Administers trainings and initiatives, including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation and ensuring training records are fully up to date
  • B.3. Delivers, evaluates, monitors feedback and checks effectiveness of training sessions
  • B.4. Ensures that quality and cost effective services are offered by identifying and monitoring training KPIs and preparing reports that includes training costs, budget, and delivery of courses
  • B.5. Reviews learning and development records, identify and collate training needs, and identify the gaps
  • B.6. Introduces and implements new training processes and systems to record and review training needs and delivery
  • B.7. Works closely with developers and project managers to review learning and development interventions for technical competencies, behavioral competencies, leadership development and personal effectiveness
  • B.8. Maps out training plans for new intakes and allocate required training and induction programs on commencement with company

C. Recruitment and Selection

  • C.1. Conducts new employee orientations; processes requests for background and reference checks, and verifies new hire information
  • C.2. Handles recruitment for Hyperstacks including consultants/project based/contractors
  • C.3. Handles interview process and facilitates scheduling of interviews with management
  • C.4. Maintains process for obtaining and tracking applicant flow data through Applicant Databank
  • C.5. Provides prompt application/interview feedback to applicants
  • C.6. Prepares and maintains employee files, maintains prospective and current employee documentation through database and 201 files

D. Payroll and Timekeeping

  • D.1. Processes payroll and timekeeping including payroll deductions and benefits for employees
  • D.2. Enters payroll and employee information into HR database
  • D.3. Monitors and verifies tardiness and absences and out of office activities
  • D.4. Releases updated pay slips to employees during every payout

E. Performance Management

  • E.1. Monitors the performance review of probationary and regular employees; sends out review forms to their respective leads and coworkers
  • E.2. Ensure timely communication/execution/completion of the performance management process
  • E.3. Distribution of performance evaluation
  • E.4. Compute performance ratings; records performance evaluation results

F. Organizational Development

  • F.1. Assists in the creation and interpretation of company policies and programs
  • F.2. Assists in the administration of company’s disciplinary process and observance of due process
  • F.3. Assist in creating and developing job description
  • F.4. Assist in advising management on career development, work matters, industrial matters, and personal problems including staff issues and concerns

G. Employee Relations

  • G.1. Works closely with other departments, increasingly acting as a consultancy professional, and assisting employees in understanding and implementing procedures and policies
  • G.2. Prepares information regarding company policies, procedures, events, etc.
  • G.3. Ensures legal and policy compliance; investigate issues thoroughly and objectively
  • G.4. Exit interview and submits summary of exit interview
  • G.5. Receives and evaluate complaints and reports against employee and conducts investigation on complaints and grievances
  • G.6. Prepares Incident Report (IR) to concerned individuals involved in a case or incident following due process
  • G.7. Implements and monitors preventive suspension and penalties imposed on erring employees
  • G.8. Provides counseling, grievance and discipline for all staff
  • G.9. Facilitates the resolution of any employee relations problems
  • G.10. Counsels employee regarding work, family or personal problems
  • G.11. Prepare reports on complaints, counseling, grievances, survey and other adhoc tasks
  • G.12. Facilitate team building, company outing, company sports fest, company Christmas party & and other employee relations programs

H. Office Management

  • H.1. Maintains hard-copy filing, safekeeping of HR office documents (filing, 5S application, etc.)
  • H.2. Transmits outgoing documents and ensures hard and soft filing and monitoring of received/transmitted files
  • H.3. Attends to employees' inquiries when necessary and as requested
  • H.4. Prepares HR-related communication and correspondence photocopies, faxes and email documents, and performs other clerical functions
