Job Summary:
Overall responsibility for the coordination and successful implementation of a Empty Container Depot Concrete Pavement construction project.
Qualifications:
- Higher education and formal qualification to B.Sc. Degree standard in civil engineering
- Fluency and understanding of English in spoken and written format
- Fluency and understanding of local language preferred but not necessary
- Membership of a recognized professional engineering institution and licensed to approve documents, drawings and civil works designs
- At least 15 years previous experience in medium-scale construction projects involving industrial civil infrastructure works mainly heavy/light duty pavement and highways, preferably with experience working with DPWH, a civil contractor or operator / developer.
- Previous experience in civil engineering construction administration, pavement/road designing, including management of multi-discipline engineering projects, is essential.
- Familiarity with port infrastructure preferred but not necessary.
- International and local Engineering Standards used within the industry for civil engineering works for Container Terminal heavy/light duty pavement, and Highways implemented under DPWH Standards.
- Familiarity with Construction Contracts related to procurement and administration of medium-scale civil works contracts.
- Heavy/light Duty pavement designing
- Computer literate and able to use standard software such as MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and MS Project.
