Job Description:

The Human Resource Assistant ensures that staffing requirements are met to identify, attract and onboard top talent to efficiently and effectively meet dynamic business needs. This position is responsible for aiding with the formulation of a recruitment strategy, screening candidates and conducting interviews. You will also give general operational assistance to all departments.


Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR manager with operational tasks covering the employee lifecycle, such as HR record maintenance, and time and absence support.
  • In-charge of benefits administration including payment of government mandated benefits
  • Assist in developing a strategy to leverage various resources - internet, community organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, colleges, trade associations - to, directly and indirectly, attract and source qualified candidates. Supports strategies to enhance the company’s diversity recruitment strategy through relationship building.
  • Oversee and facilitate onboarding and offboarding, contract renewal, probation, sabbaticals, local requirements, paid-time offs, sick-leave, and parental leave processes
  • Assist in attracting, hiring, and retaining the best people who are aligned with the company's goals, as well as developing a solid talent pipeline.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies and plans to meet the company's workforce requirements.
  • Handle placement & all movements of hired personnel, including monitoring & documentation of their employment.
  • Assist in manpower development activities and employee events.
  • Perform general ad hoc administrative tasks such as creating reports and conducting research

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree holder of Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Behavioral Science, or any related course.
  • With full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to assessment, interviewing, hiring, and placement.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze recruiting metrics and trends: retention, quality of hire, net throughput, etc.
  • Ability to work in international teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with employees to explain and resolve queries and concerns. This could be via email, phone, and chat / instant messaging.
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work in a shift schedule environment
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Experience working with KPI and SLA is a plus.
