A leading manufacturer of Marca Leon high quality cooking oils is in need of:
Responsibilities:
- Performs JDE application enhancements or develops new reports according to the specific requirement approves by top management and department heads.
- Develop standards programming techniques applicable to the existing development tool and make recommendations.
- Performs Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Creates quality written technical design specifications and documentation.
- Maintains up-to-date documentation of existing systems and operations.
- Assist in developing User-Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and software delivery sign- off to end-users.
- Monitors system services ensuring high availability, consistent service reliability and timely problem escalation or resolution.
- Documents and troubleshoots issues, system bugs and provides direction for work-around, corrections and enhancements.
- Works with other developers, business analysts, and key users to ensure applications meet development requirements.
- Ensure minimal system downtime's when implementing application updates and system upgrades.
- Responsible of providing technical support both internal and external end-users of the system.
- Performs special task/projects that may be assigned from time to time as the need arises-
Requirements:
- Male, graduate of BS Computer Science, IT or relevant Engineering field
- With at least 2 years experience as a programmer/developer
- Has experience in handling any accounting software
- Programming skills in JD Edwards report Design Aid is a plus
- Willing to travel to other business sites.
