A station assistant is a position held by employees operating a fuel station very similar to a “pump attendant”. In the initial months of a station assistant’s job, he/she is assigned to man fuel dispensing pumps and simply serves customers that come for service. A station assistant is also expected to be able to open and close the station, along with completion of necessary shift reports and daily inventory and sales log sheets.
