COFIPAC CORPORATION is an independent company and one of the co-manufacturer of Nestle Philippines, Incorporated. The Tan and Lim families are the founders of COFIPAC CORPORATION. They are known coffee traders in Cagayan de Oro City until they were invited by Nestle Philippines Inc. as its qualified co-manufacturer. COFIPAC CORPORATION started operating last September 05, 1994 at Tan-Tiong Bldg., Osmeña Street, Cagayan de Oro City, with just about twelve (12) employees and having only two (2) machines with a maximum production of 6,000 cases per month.

Responsibilities

•Discusses and establishes annual SHE objectives with the management to support the achievement of the corporate strategy.

•Reviews and upgrades the Health and Safety policy manual, and ensures that all personnel are kept informed of all requirements.

•Liaises with regulatory bodies, government agencies and provides advice on relevant incidents (i.e. fire, large spills, contaminations, injury).

•Works with the Human Resources department to design and implement in-house HSE training programs to support effective implementation of the HSE policy.

•Provides prompt and timely response to accident cases, liaising with Hospitals and security bodies where necessary and gives feedback to Management.

•Reviews safety reports from SHE officers and Coordinators in all business units and prepares a consolidated report for presentation to Management

•Conducts safety meetings and reviews reports of inspection, accident investigations and implementation of the programs.


Requirements:

- A graduate of Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering/technology or any related Engineering courses

- Must have completed the prescribed 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training Course from DOLE accredited or recognized organizations.

- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in the related field is an advantage.

- Intuitiveness as well as analytical, leadership and decision making skills

- Ability to deal with people at all levels.

- Ability to work well under pressure.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
