1. Repairs and troubleshoots abnormalities of engines, centrifuge, compressors and other auxiliaries;
2. Undertakes mechanical maintenance work during preventive maintenance schedule, scheduled and unscheduled repair of engines and auxiliaries;
3. Reconditions engine parts such as cylinder liners, piston, cylinder heads, exhaust valve gauge, inlet/exhaust valve stem;
4. Prepares tools, spare parts and materials needed for the scheduled repair work;
5. Does visual inspection of all mechanical equipment in operations, checks conditions, lubricates bearings of various auxiliaries and other rotating parts if necessary;
6. Disassembles and assembles compressor units, pumps, centrifuges and other related service equipment;
7. Performs housekeeping of the mechanical equipment rooms and the plant surroundings;
