The Account Executive is responsible focusing on sales and marketing, receivable collections, and account management as follows:
- Sales and Marketing to be done via goal setting and achievement of planned utilization forecast.
- Maintenance of the standard days’ collection period for clients.
- Account Management via completion and maintenance of Client Profiling reports; Zero IR/NCR on client related issues; Completion of Contracts/PO; and Checking of required Daily/Weekly and Monthly Reports
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related courses
- Additional education or experience may be preferred
- With experience in logistics industry
Organizational Skills:
- Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends
- Must have the drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
- Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
- Possession of excellent time management and team management skills
- Keen to information and details in monitoring the overall utilization performance of business
- Ability to confidently make cold calls to build pipelines
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Communication Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to understand the details of clients’ deliveries, and pass instructions to team members to carry out without erring
- Effectively communicates to the management committee (Mancom) regarding the department’s overall performance and suggested action plans to improve business financial goals
Computer Skills
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software (ie.managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formula)
- Proficient in management software programs
Others:
- Must know how to drive (with restrictions – 1, 2)
- Willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
- Able to travel as needed
