Job Overview:

The Millwright/Mechanical Technician is tasked with fixing the plant’s mechanical related problems. He roves the entire plant at the beginning of his shift to observe machine behavior and ensure the prevention major mechanical troubles.

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electro-mechanical), Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  
• With at least 1-2 years of experience in the mechanical maintenance of production machines/equipment: bearings, shaft and sleeve, casing and impeller, bearing housing, coupling, pump mountings, motor alignment, pump vibration and temperature or related experience.
  
• Required Skill(s): Millwright, Mechanical Maintenance of Production Machines, Boiler Operations, Machine Shop
  
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.
  
• Preferably residing in Misamis Oriental area.
  
• Highly responsible with positive working attitude
  
• Must be willing to work in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro
  

• Checks all running machines by roving the whole plant
  
• Repairs spare pumps and other machines
  
• Prepares spare parts in the shop so that there will be back-up supplies when needed
  
• Conduct preventive maintenance every two weeks by checking mechanical seal for leak, lubrication, pump mounting, motor alignment, pump vibration and temperature
  
• Conduct annual preventive maintenance by checking the bearings, shaft and sleeve, casing and impeller, bearing housing, coupling, pump mountings, motor alignment, pump vibration and temperature.
  
• Occasionally train newly hired Millwrights
  
• Provide mechanical maintenance support to sister companies
  
• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
