QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- Preferably 2+ years experienced employee specializing in IT/Computer - Network / System / Admin or equivalent
- The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours
- Team player and willing to collaborate with R&D and other teams
- Passion for solving problems
AWS / Systems / Network Administration- Required:
- Solid knowledge using AWS Core Services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Database)
- Solid Linux (Amazon Linux, Ubuntu / Debian, and similar) experience; Windows is a plus
- Apache and Nginx management (configuration, SSL, etc.), LAMP/LEMP deployments
- Understands and can execute high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery
- Networking concepts, IPV4/6, VPN, best practices, and implementation of firewall and/or security
- Server monitoring tools
- Virtualization
- Operational Support for AWS Deployments
- Problem and Incident Management
- Project Implementation
- Technical Documentation
- Automation Development
Preferred / Plus:
- AWS SDK for development
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation/orchestration tools (Chef, Vagrant, Git/GitLab, etc.)
- Continuous Integration / Deployment (CI/CD)
- Bash / shell scripting, PHP, Python, Go, etc.
- AWS certification
Linux Administrator- Required:
Knowledgeable in the following:
- Ubuntu / Debian Linux operating systems
- Apache, Nginx, high availability of web servers
- MySQL, MariaDB, Percona XtraDB databases
- Monitoring tools such as, but not limited to: Zabbix, Nagios, and similar
- Setup of LAMP/LEMP stack; PHP and PHP-FPM
- SSL / certificate setup
- Bash scripting / automation
- Git / GitLab
- TCP/IP, IPv4 and 6
- Performance tuning
- Various protocols like SSH, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, etc.
- Various open-source tools and solutions
Familiarity with the following:
- VMware ESXi
- AWS core services
- Infrastructure automation: Chef, Puppet, or Terraform; Vagrant
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Infrastructure security best practices
Not required but a plus:
- AWS certification
- Linux or similar certification
