Responsibilities: General Day to Day Tasks
• Produce well-researched articles for web and print publishing.
• Organize writing schedules to meet deadlines for content drafts or completed projects.
• To generate ideas and content, use industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's objective.
• Work with a writing team that includes a content manager, editors, and online publishers to communicate and collaborate.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and collaborate with other members of the content production team to ensure that materials are delivered on time.
• Create related content for websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs, social media content among other platforms.
• Key performance indicators (KPIs) are monitored and analyzed to provide ideas for improvement.
• To increase a website's online presence in search results, use search engine optimization (SEO) tactics in writing.
• Communicate and cooperate with a writing team, including a content manager, editors, and web publishers
• Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Qualifications: Must Haves
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, or related field.
• Proven basic knowledge of content writing, SEO writing or copywriting experience.
• Working knowledge of content management systems (CRMs).
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• A portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must know how to plan and write listicles for social media platforms and digital advertising/marketing campaigns.
• Basic knowledge of social media marketing tools and digital creation tools like Canva, Photoshop and other social media platforms.
• Working knowledge on writing tools for plagiarism detection, copyediting, paraphrasing, grammar and spell-checking.
• Understanding grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences.
• Being mindful of things like flow, readability, and sentence variety.
