COMMUNICATION OFFICER
(Cagayan de Oro based)
Qualifications
1. Minimum requirement of Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Development Communications, or other related field;
2. Minimum of 5 years experiences (more years is an advantage) in the field of communications, writing, and media work required;
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; able to write and communicate proficiently in English and Filipino; proficiency in other local languages an additional advantage;
4. Has knowledge and skills in developing communication strategy and plan, producing communication materials suitable for various audiences;
5. Knowledge and skills in multi-media production and use, and social-media savvy;
6. Experience and skills in capturing concise and news-worthy stories, skills in effective storytelling with ability to raise empathy with different target audiences;
7. Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact and engage with different groups/types of people, with a range of Samdhana partners, from communities to donors;
8. Creative, innovative, open, independent and can work very well as part of multi-cultural team;
9. Ability and willingness to take on multiple tasks and perform well in a demanding, high pressure and fast-changing work environment;
