Reviews and approves feed mill equipment preventive maintenance calendar.
Plans, sets up schedules, facilitates and implements work orders of preventive mechanical maintenance activities to ensure tip top condition and dependability of all feed mill equipment and machineries during operations.
Directs and supervises subordinates in trouble shooting and repair works during emergency break down and prevent further mechanical damage that may cause operation shutdown.
Approves and initiates purchase requisitions and sourcing out of information of materials and supplies, and pooling of manpower necessary for the carrying out of maintenance and repair activities and ensuring availability of such resources in case of emergency and for future projects.
Reviews and analyzes accomplishment reports of work activities to monitor and to keep track all maintenance and repair activities provided to the whole operation.
Prepares annual departmental budget.
Directs and sets up schedules of maintenance personnel.
Secondary Functions
Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health & safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers in coordination with the Safety Officer.
Conducts periodic orientation for both subordinates and line personnel.
Education
Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer preferably with Safety Officer Certification.
Training
Having a training related to Plant Maintenance and Calibration would be an advantage.
Skills
Must have demonstrated leadership skills
Must be good both in oral and written communication.
Must be computer literate and should have knowledge of basic programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint applications;

Experience
3-year experience in plant maintenance supervision, safety engineering, and inspection of equipment and facilities.
