Construction Project Manager duties and responsibilities
A Construction Project Manager coordinates and supervises one or more construction projects. Construction Project Managers oversee employees and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Construction Project Manager interfaces with all parties involved in the project including but not limited to suppliers, contractor, DPWH personnel, and motor pool for heavy equipments.
Construction project managers are responsible for the following:
* Planning the work to be done, budget, timeline, and resources needed
* Collaborating with engineers, architects and construction personnel
* Selecting workers and delegating work
* Problem-solving to address delays, emergencies or other issues
* Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
* Reporting progress to clients
* Explaining contract and technical matters in a clear manner
* Preparing budgets, cost estimates, schedules and timelines
* Billing clients
