Handle the Purchase and Delivery of Plant Supplies, Parts, and Materials as well as Farm Supplies and Materials.
Monitor Stock Availabilities, trends, needs, and make projections to forecast purchase request, make arrangements, and deliver requirements on time.
Evaluate suppliers to ensure that they have the inventories and can make timely deliveries. Ensure their compliance to safety/environmental requirements. Monitor macro trends in supplier/contract base and implement plans to react.
Update regularly with Production in order to anticipate requirements. Continually develop expertise to be able to support new projects.
Create a procurement strategy and policies; write the key result areas for the department and staff. Help lower cost and secure agreements.
Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with Users, Vendors, and others to determine cause of problems and take corrective and preventive actions.
Build and develop relationship with key suppliers and customers and lead the Purchasing Group in all phases of procurement.
Order materials and services as per negotiated and previously approved terms and prices.
Plan to buy materials, parts, supplies and equipments in a timely cost effective way, while maintaining appropriate and quality standard specs review quotations policies.
Qualifications:
Must be a college graduate
With at leatst 3 years supervisory experience in Purchasing
