Responsibilities
• Diagnoses and makes repairs on electrical or mechanical systems of an equipment.
• Tests repairs and communicates issues to service supervisor and service coordinators; conduct additional repair work as advised by supervisor.
• Replaces parts and components and keep detailed, organized records of all repair work done on each equipment.
• Keeps work area clean, neat, and to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members.
• Communicates with service supervisor about parts ordered, parts required, and timeliness of order completion.
• Conduct written and verbal communication, read and comprehend technical information.
• Maintain repair monitoring records and submit repair reports to the immediate supervisor.
• Maximize equipment up-time through effective and efficient repair.
Requirements
• Must have strong mechanical and technical aptitude; ability to solve technical issues.
• Problem solving skills and close attention to detail
• Graduate of electrical or automotive technology course
• Able to work well under time pressure
