Underwriting Assistant / Encoder is responsible for encoding policy issuances following the Underwriting guidelines and requirements of the company.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers to get information to complete screening and transactions.
Reply to customer and underwriter enquiries and offer status updates.
Lead, determine and resolve problems by referring to policies, procedures and standards.
Answer incoming telephone calls and reply to enquiries within pre-determined scope.
Compile reports and maintain files and logs.
Ensure assigned workload within quality and productivity.
Offer a high level of customer service while interacting with clients.
Extend technical underwriting support for team members.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a 4 Year Course
Computer Literate (High literacy level in MS Word and Excel Applications)
Excellent communication skills
Keen to details
Can work with less supervision
Confident and able to socialize
Open to fresh graduates
With Pleasing Personality
