Underwriting Assistant / Encoder Fulltime

Underwriting Assistant / Encoder is responsible for encoding policy issuances following the Underwriting guidelines and requirements of the company.

Responsibilities:

 Communicate with customers to get information to complete screening and transactions.

 Reply to customer and underwriter enquiries and offer status updates.

 Lead, determine and resolve problems by referring to policies, procedures and standards.

 Answer incoming telephone calls and reply to enquiries within pre-determined scope.

 Compile reports and maintain files and logs.

 Ensure assigned workload within quality and productivity.

 Offer a high level of customer service while interacting with clients.

 Extend technical underwriting support for team members.


Qualifications:

 Graduate of a 4 Year Course

 Computer Literate (High literacy level in MS Word and Excel Applications)

 Excellent communication skills

 Keen to details

 Can work with less supervision

 Confident and able to socialize

 Open to fresh graduates

 With Pleasing Personality
