BILLING

  • Bills patients who have PHIC.
  • Checks the medicine description if that medicine is compensable or non-compensable.
  • Checks the final diagnosis and date of MGH (may-go-home) ordered by the attending physician.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Gives requirements and proper explanation to the patient.
  • Receives and checks the requirements if there are lacking documents and errors


XEROX

  • Doctor's order and OR notes for PHIC transmittal.


  • Updates logbook of posted payments.
  • Makes rounds to the Doctor's clinics and non-resident doctors for their signature.
  • Posts all the charts to be forwarded to the Records Department.
  • Preferably certified ICD-10 Coder or has any background working with PhilHealth.
