JOB DESCRIPTION

Overall Responsibility

  • Helps Senior Professional Sales Personnel achieve or exceed volume, distribution, and merchandising objectives of assigned territory by efficiently servicing orders of existing outlets and by helping open new outlets or penetrate inactive customers. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly coverage plan to ensure that all potential customers in the territory are covered, miscalls of active customers are minimized, and sales volume target is achieved. 
  • Open Daily Accomplishment Report (DAR) before the start of routing day where DAR shows a list of customers in route order and volume objective. 
  • Ensure to check the sales truck before going on sales route: battery, lights, oil, water, brakes, air, gas (BLOWBAG). Also check under chassis, tires, horns, etc. 
  • Before going on daily routes, arrange stocks properly to ensure fast and complete layout of customer orders. 
  • Gather all necessary selling tools: price list, calculator, ballpens, sales order form, sales invoices and all available merchandising materials including gun tacker and masking tape before going on-route. 
  •  Implement the Basic Call Procedure (BCP) in all customer calls. 
  • Expand product distribution by pushing new products or new SKUs (canvass drives). 
  • Stimulate product offtake by making sure Junior Salesman install POP materials (tarpaulin, posters, banners, mobiles, etc.) and negotiate for strategic shelf position (eye level, besides leading brand) and wide shelf facing. 
  • Check products for return replace B.O. immediately or deduct an amount from current purchase. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Male 
  • Bachelor’s/ College Degree, Business Administration/Marketing, Electrical/ Electronics Engineer or equivalent  
  •   At least 5’5 in height  
  • Preferably with sales experience 
  • Knows how to drive  
  •   Fresh graduates are welcome to apply  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  •   Must be persuasive, confident, goal-oriented and determined  
  • Willing to travel
