PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
• To deliver expectations of pertaining to the role of sales/operations management (plan/lead/organize/ control)
• To develop and execute sales/distribution strategy
• To take the responsibility and accountability for the daily operational activities
• To develop, set and communicate operational objectives to subordinates
• To develop plans, processes and programs to enable company growth
• To build a strong team cut out to excel in challenges brought about by the nature of business
• To be the role model of “Customer orientation” as a backbone to company growth
• To ensure provision of highest level of customer service and satisfaction
• To manage allocation of resources to ensure that level of optimization (resources vis a vis output) is reached
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management
• Reporting to the Board of Directors, this role covers all aspects of operations and sales management
• Achieves targets (primarily sales) for business growth
• Conducts regular operations meetings to discuss relevant operational/sales matters
• Complies with all policies, procedures, rules and regulations (internal or external)
Sales and Marketing Management
• Formulate and deliver the annual sales target aligned with company set objectives
• Responsible for development of business strategies using data gathered by Sales team
• Develop the strategy for customer relationships
• Develop the short and medium sales strategy for the region
• Responsible for reviewing all forecasts and challenging data as appropriate to ensure planning is as accurate as possible
• Maintain market knowledge and passes knowledge to relevant people
People Management
• Establishes team behavior of integrity, capability & results
• Organize, mold and maintain high performance team with focus on operations and sales excellence
• Develops subordinates’ key competencies
• Identifies and encourages developmental opportunities for employees
Data/Information Management
• Continually monitor the area to spot potential growth area for the business
• Develop strategies to penetrate new markets
• Identifies competitors and gather relevant info to be used for forward planning
CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
:
• Business related education is an advantage
• Proven sales and distribution experience in a similar industry (hard tools)
• Proven record on achieving sales target
• Good technical knowledge on hard and power tools
• Good knowledge of the ins and outs of the territory
• Prepared to travel for the role
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Knowledge of the territory (Mindanao)
• Knowledge on hard/power tools or related industry
• Strong knowledge in social media sales and marketing
