Role Purpose
The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the web and mobile products meet high quality standards by performing functionality, reliability, performance and compatibility testing.
Operating within a cross-functional Agile team (Developers, QA Analysts and Product Owners), this role will take a significant part in planning the product development phase while being in charge of creating end-to-end test plans, executing them, ensuring that all the objectives are met and that the implementation works as expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing on various products and different platforms – Web, Mobile, Application, both Frontend and Backend, to ensure that the web products and application are in their best quality before being released to our customers.
- Take significant part in the design, development and execution of automation QA scripts using open source tools in order to make the QA process as efficient as possible.
- Responsible for reviewing and providing timely and meaningful feedback regarding requirements, specifications and technical design documents of our various web products, coming from the company\'s stakeholders.
- Based on the product’s requirements the QA role is responsible for defining, developing and executing test plans and test cases in order to meet the product goals.
- Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
- Documenting high quality defect reports when found, using the company’s task management system (JIRA).
- Working in Agile methodology the QA Analyst will be responsible for attending sprints (fixed time period sessions),planning sessions, attend daily face-to-face catch-ups, testing relevant issues throughout the sprint planned and attending the sprint retrospective and providing accurate estimates.
- Responsible for staying up to date with the market new testing tools and relevant technology and for bringing new ideas and innovation to the on-going QA work.
- Be part of a team of QA specialists, contribute to the team by sharing knowledge, best practices and know-hows.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Desirable the successful candidate has university level education and/or equivalent vocational training
- Ideally should hold the ISEB/ISTQB foundation certificate in Software Testing
- Any coding certifications would be advantageous.
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
- Strong technical understanding of web and mobile apps.
- Good understanding and practices in performing QA in an agile environment.
- Attention to details and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Experience in QA practices such as exploratory, regression, performance testing and automation.
- Experience with functional automation tools such as Selenium Webdriver and Appium.
- Experience with non functional automation tools such as Postman and other performance testing tools..
- Able to establishing and maintaining international work relations.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience of Sports Betting/Gaming industry would be preferred.
- Preferable candidate has 3 years experience in a similar role.
