Star Plus Tutorial Center is an educational center focused on an after and off-school learning assistance for every child to achieve academic success. The Center offers assistance with homework, test preparation, and study strategies in various subjects with a focus in English, Science, and Math.
Qualifications:
- a graduate of any 4-year-course (Major in Math/Science/Filipino/ FRESH GRADUATE is a plus)
- understands and loves grade school / high school subjects (Math, Science, English, Civics, Filipino)
- has the patience to teach children
- is willing to work in Pueblo de Oro, Cagayan de Oro City
- with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literate, able to handle pressure, works under minimal supervision, amenable to work during weekends
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach grade school or high school students
- Coach students in the basic subject matter;
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, discovery, etc.;
- Cooperate with co-tutors in assessing and helping students solve learning problems;
- Maintain professional competence; and
- Create practice tests for subject/s handled
