Job descriptions:

1. Identifies various sources of recruitment by keeping abreast of current hiring trends and practices such as online and telephone recruitment, job postings, job fairs, campus recruitment, outsourcing for management positions, internal sourcing or referral systems, flyers, buying of graduate lists from schools and etc. to ensure continuous supply of qualified applicants needed by operations and other units in the Company.


2. Attends university job fairs and sets up display of the company booth by coordinating with the respective school officials for their schedules and booth location in order to attract applicants.


3. Develops database for pooling of applicants as a ready source of candidates.


4. Screens qualified applicants by evaluating the resume according to the qualifications and requirements set for the position to ensure that short listed candidates meet the qualifications.


5. Informs applicants of the result of their application as soon as an evaluation has been finished by the Requisitioning Department so that applicants are made aware of the status of their application.


6. Conducts company orientation to newly hired employees by briefing them with Company profile, policies and procedures and other things that they need to know as an employee of the Company.


7. Prepares and updates manpower statistics on hiring as to number of applicants, status, number of needs served daily as part of weekly accomplishment report to be submitted to the HR Manager. 


8. Assists HRD Supervisor in preparing the recruitment budget to support mid and long term requirements of Recruitment.


9. Participates in the Department’s planning sessions and helps set plans and programs and attends weekly meeting of the department.
