Job Description:
The Technical Consultant is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and relate infrastructure.
Job Specifications:
- Planning the proper system needs of a company
- Installing the appropriate systems
- Providing support for the systems throughout the working day
- Solving problems connected to the network and the systems
- Monitoring the network efficiency
- Resolving client issues
- Testing products and applications
- Documenting processes and application instructions
- Supporting and troubleshooting software issues
- Generating innovate ideas
- Liaison with the website hosting provider if necessary
- Applying patches and updates
- Identifying the needs of the company and assessing whether they are being met by the current system
- Planning security measures
- Implementing security measures
Job Qualifications:
- Windows Server/Linux Server
- Basic system admin skills and basic network admin skills
- Problem-solving skills
- A technical mind
- An organised mind
- Attention to detail
- Analytical and quantitative skills
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to describe technical information in easy-to-understand terms
- Good communication skills
- Discretion (since confidential data is held on computer systems)
- Bachelor's/College Grad preferably Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field
- Willing to work with shifting schedules
- With experience is a plus
