Star Plus Tutorial Center is an educational center focused on an after and off-school learning assistance for every child to achieve academic success. The Center offers assistance with homework, test preparation, and study strategies in various subjects with focus in English, Science and Math.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- graduate of any 4-year-course (Major in Math/Science/English/Filipino is a plus)
- understands and loves grade school / high school subjects (Math, Science, English, Civics, Filipino)
- has patience to teach children
- is willing to work in Pueblo de Oro, Cagayan de Oro City
- with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literate, able to handle pressure, works under minimal supervision, amenable to work during weekends
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach grade school or high school students
- Coach students in basic subject matter;
- Use a variety of instruction strategies, such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, discovery, etc.;
- Cooperate with co-tutors in assessing and helping students solve learning problems;
- Maintain professional competence; and
- Create practice tests for subject/s handled
