Summary:
*Develops and tests machinery and equipment under direction of engineering and scientific staff.
Duties (others may be assigned:
1. Reviews project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or sub assemblies
2. Drafts detail drawing or sketch to request parts fabrication by machine, sheet metal or shops
Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies for products or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control
3. Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications
4.Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method
5. Has background in GMP, SOP and SANITATION POLICY
Requirements:
1.Completion of a Vocational or Technical Degree
2. At least 1 to 3 years related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals
4. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
5. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
6. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume
7. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
8. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
9. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
