Direct Territory Representative Fulltime

Job Summary: Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.

Job Description:

  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a well-planned coverage and systematic selling procedure.
  • Ensure delivery of booked orders and collects accounts for remittance to head office.
  • Submits required reports based on established timelines.
  • Ensures products are available in the warehouse.
  • Ensures selling tools (product samples, product presenters, documents, POP materials) are sufficient and well maintained.
  • Accountable for the reconciliation of hanging trade balances.
  • Ensures that BOs from accounts are properly recorded and remitted to the warehouse.
  • On resignation, ensures that proper turnover of company properties, accountable forms, and trade receivables will be observed.

Key Result Areas
1. Coverage: Salesman should follow strictly the established Coverage Plan and achieve the required number of outlets to be covered.
2. Basic Call Procedure: Salesman should strictly follow the established Basic Call Procedure and achieve the required number of productive calls per day.
3. Distribution: Salesman should ensure availability of his products in all covered outlets by making sure customer orders are delivered on time.
4. Collection: Salesman should ensure collection on time of products sold remittance of collection daily.
5. Reports: Salesman should ensure accuracy and prompt submission of required daily sales and collection reports, weekly expense reports, competitive reports, etc. He should also maintain an accurate record of per customer inventories and purchases.
6. Merchandising: Salesman should ensure proper pricing and display of products in his covered outlets and the installation of POP materials. Plan-o-grams are followed.
7. Stock Accountability: Salesman should ensure accuracy of inventory of stocks in the warehouse and right product mix is maintained.
8. Expense: Salesman should ensure proper liquidation of accountable allowances, per diems, and other accountabilities.
9. Trade Returns: Salesman should ensure freshness of stocks in the warehouse and in the outlets he covers. Trade Returns / BO should fall within the budget.

Qualifications:

  • Male/Female not over 30 years old
  • College graduate, preferably business, economics, and other related courses
  • At least one year sales experience
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills
  • Good numerical, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and capable in working under pressure
