This is a maxim we strongly believe in, from our early beginnings in 1999, until today. As we continue to build, each one of us carries a brick, helping our cooperative take better shape.
And it has been an amazing journey, coming to where we are today. In 1999, sixty active members led by Leo G. Parma formed Asiapro. Since then, our small cooperative has grown exponentially, reaching 55,000 member-owners nationwide. From specializing in manpower placement in Luzon, we have spread out to Visayas and Mindanao in 2004, and this expansion helped us grow.
We owe part of this growth to our study tour of the global model for workers cooperative, Mondragon Corporation of Spain. Our visits in 2008 and 2010, gave us a better understanding of how it works, and it became a benchmark for our own operations.
Today, with 18 satellite offices, strategically located in 9 regions across the country, serving the needs of our member-owners, Asiapro is the country’s first, largest and leading workers cooperative – a strong collective force of member-owners who simply get things done, better.
At Asiapro, bawat isa, mahalaga: that is why we are committed to each member’s welfare, no matter how big we have grown.
As Asiapro Multipurpose Cooperative continuously increases in members through the years we will need talents who can competently and confidently lead units of our organization.
