Sales Engineer – PEP/PPS, Parts & Service Division
We are offering a challenging, demanding, rewarding position in a highly dynamic and interesting organization. Alfa Laval Philippines seeks an ideal candidate for Sales Engineer-PEP/PPS, Parts & Service Division.
Main Job Function
Implement short, medium and long-term marketing and sales strategies for PEP/PPS,Parts & Service Division to meet its segment’s objectives of maximizing sales volume, profitability and market share
Responsibilities
• Generate demand for spare parts & service by increasing the product focus and improve product fit in the area of responsibility
• Account Management & After Sales Service by maintaining, managing and monitoring all customer-related operational issues.
• Performance monitoring of sales efficiency by creating visit reports, monitoring of account receivables and conducting monthly reviews to achieve targets.
Main challenges
• Understand and respond to market needs and take initiatives in line with the growth strategy of Alfa Laval Philippines
• Support the Alfa Laval sales and service force
• Monitor market trends & competitors
• Promote and position new products
• Secure the continued growth and profitability of the Parts & Service Div. through implementation of best practices, new business concepts and efficient market coverage
Personal profile & qualifications
• A Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineer with Professional Engineering License is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years experience in Aftersales (Spare Parts and Technical Service)
• Familiarity of our products and line of business is a plus
• Excellent networking skills to effectively work in a global and multi-faceted organization
• Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFQs, and when submitting reports
• Must be prepared for extensive travel
• Willing to be assigned to Davao, General Santos & Cebu City
• A native of Davao or Cebu is an advantage
