Business Development Officer Fulltime

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develops business relationships with potential clients and participate in team efforts to provide excellent client service.
2. Manages and develops DSB’s business proposal development process.
3. Identifies and presents to management all emerging market trends and potential client needs that may present new service opportunities for the company.
4. Keeps abreast of local and industry trends as they apply to products and services offered by SprucePinked
5. Develops a strong pipeline of new customers and projects in accounts through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
6. Produces lead reports and documents important customer opportunities; ensures action is taken and leads are followed through.
7. Provides input into strategic marketing activities for new products and suggests enhancements to existing products based on customer needs.
8. Coaches others on the design and implementation of campaigns to present products to new markets.
9. Analyzes alternative business development approaches and strategies.
10. Teaches DSB staff on variety of tools and techniques in evaluating market potential.
11. Monitors and evaluates the performance of DSB staff and guides them towards the proper direction of achieving targets.

EDUCATION

A graduate of a four-year degree in Marketing, Sales or any business related course
