QUALIFICATIONS:

. FEMALE NOT MORE THAN 35 YRS. OLD
. HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT DEGREE
. AT LEAST 1 YR. SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE IN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT
. GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS (ENGLISH AND FILIPINO)
. COMPUTER LITERATE

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conducts periodic coordination meeting among staff to communicate announcements, assignment, special orders and memos.
2. Ensures proper and quality set-up and preparation before function
a. Receives all BEO ( Banquet Event Orders ) from the Marketing Department and prepares Pre and Post Function Checklist for each BEO received.
b. Assigns manpower for each function and requests for additional manpower if necessary.
c. Monitor and checks actual set-up of function room.
3. Responsible for ensuring excellent service provided for every meal, function, or catering served by the Hotel.
a. Supervises all banquet staff during functions and coordinates all works.
b. Checks food quality – presentation, quantity, and taste – before they are served
c. Respond to special guest request and endorses special requests above limits of authority to the resident manager.
4. Ensures fast and accurate billing of all functions
a. Informs regular waiters of price updates and additional orders for every function
b. Ensures all additional charges are approved and verified by the authorized guest representative
c. Checks billing statements before they are forwarded to the accounting department or to the guest
d. Checks and summarizes billing statements from the outlet
5. Coordinates the execution of an efficient post function clean-up
a. Counts equipment and materials and updates the Pre and Post Function Checklist
b. Ensures proper handling and storage of equipment and materials used
c. Monitors and checks the quality of the function room clean-up
d. Note any damages on the function room and coordinate for corrective action ( repairs )
6. Ensures that all supplies, equipment, and materials of the outlet and banquet section are secured and properly maintained
a. Conducts weekly inventory of all equipment and materials
b. Conducts monthly maintenance or general cleaning of equipment and materials
c. Investigate and report losses and damages.
d. Coordinate for the replenishment of supplies, and loss materials.
e. Canvass and recommend supplies, materials and equipment
f. Conducts monthly general cleaning of the function rooms.
7. Training and evaluation of all staff
a. Skill and customer service training for regular waiters, on call waiters and OJT’s
b. Procedure training for regular waiters, on call waiters and OJT’s
c. Orientation of “DO’s and DON’Ts” to all staff
d. Periodic evaluation of waiters and final evaluation of OJT’s
8. Prepares report
a. Prepares and submits weekly manpower request or manpower assignments to the resident manager
b. Prepares and submits a weekly activity report and inventory report
9. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the resident manager.
